Your baby now weighs about 2 1/2 pounds (like a butternut squash) and is a tad over 15 inches long from head to heel. His muscles and lungs are continuing to mature, and his head is growing bigger to make room for his developing brain. To meet his increasing nutritional demands, you’ll need plenty of protein, vitamins C, folic acid, and iron. And because his bones are soaking up lots of calcium, be sure to drink your milk (or find another good source of calcium, such as cheese, yogurt, or enriched orange juice). This trimester, about 250 milligrams of calcium are deposited in your baby’s hardening skeleton each day. (via Baby Center)
Probably 25-27 pounds. I figure I’ll gain between 30-35 altogether between now and the time Jonah is born. I gained 36 with Noah, so I’m aiming to keep it at that or lower this go around as well.
I actually had a really good week with sleep this week. Maybe it’s a mix of third trimester exhaustion and working long hours during the day. Or maybe it’s had more to do with getting out and enjoying the nice weather throughout the day. Either way, I had a couple of bad nights but a few really good nights of deep, deep sleep.
I got some of Jonah’s clothes organized and pretty much finished up the boys room. My “to do” list is dwindling down and I’m hoping to get a few things knocked out this week and next before October hits. Also got to enjoy a little date time with my boys Friday night. We went out to eat and took Noah to see the new Batman movie. He loved it and I’ve been a sucker for Christian Bale since the very first of the Dark Knight movies.
Baby Boy!! Did you guys see the photos from our Gender Reveal Party?!
Nothing of significance this week…unless you count being able to get comfortable at night.
Thursday, September 13.
The innovation and lifestyle behind JJ Cole was inspired by young parents over 14 years ago. Since that time, we have continued to create and design products with parents in mind – products that will make today simpler and tomorrow more memorable. We understand how challenging parenting can be, but also know how rewarding and satisfying it is to be called mom and dad. We strive to portray the enthusiasm we experience within our own families into the design of our products.
JJ Cole products are designed to fit the busy lifestyle of today’s parent. We look to the feedback of caring parents and our own personal experiences to create products that help solve your needs. You provide the inspiration that helps us create the products you know and love.

How Exciting! I am only 10 wks and I don’t feel pregnant yet except for needing the occassional nap here & there and that my chest has grown 2 cup sizes already! I am excited for the belly, though it is my 2nd time around, this time I feel more excited and at ease than the 1st. Anyways, congratulations! You look so cute preggers, oh, & I love your gender reveal party, I think I might do that now! If you get the chance, pass by my blog and follow along if you’d like:)

I am definitely more at ease this go around than I was the last time. And I hear you on growing 2 cup sizes. that was one of the first indications that I was pregnant. 🙂 We LOVED having a gender party and if we ever have a third, we’ll be doing another. It was such a fun way to capture the day and the experience!
Your updates make me miss my baby bump!
Glad to hear you had some better sleep this week!
Thanks girl! You can have the bump if you want it. I’ll even do the delivery part. Pregnancy has never been my favorite.
Love that sweater!! I’m excited for winter maternity clothes!
Thanks girl! I got that one at Motherhood Maternity. They’ve got a sale going on right now. Buy one get one 50% off on a lot of their jeans and shirts. 🙂 And they just put out the new Jessica Simpson collection.
aaah I love your bump!!!! and those apples & caramel look delish! 🙂 I’m so excited for you that your Momma is coming – I hope you guys have a wonderful time together 🙂
The apples & Caramel are yumm-o!! And so much easier than putting them on a stick.
Sounds like you’re feeling better and sleeping much better too! Cute bump!
Gosh, can you believe you’re at the last leg now? Feels like just yesterday when I read your first bump update 🙂
I am feeling much better! I’m still tired, but things aren’t as achy as they have been. I’m hoping that it stays that way. The fatigue I can deal with…it’s the soreness that sucks.
