I have always been a creative—whether writing, drawing, or capturing photos. In 2011, during a tough stretch of my life in Kodiak, Alaska, I took up blogging. I wanted to share my life with my family and friends back home in Alabama online (think before social media was such a big thing). I had the means to write without breaking the bank, but what I didn't have the means for was to make what I was writing a little more pleasing to the eye. I couldn't stand the basic, boring, ugly aesthetic that was available and wanted something much more attractive.
That inability to create something beautiful for myself because of my nonexistent budget led me to a place of learning how to do basic web code—HTML, CSS, and enough PHP to manipulate my design. That eventually morphed into a full love affair with color schemes, brand building, and website creation. I would spend hours scrolling the internet (way before Pinterest existed) looking at beautiful and functional places on the internet.
In 2012, I created my first brand and website for a photographer friend. With that, came another design for an up-and-coming baker (who is still a client to this day). The rest, as they say, is history.

From a professional scope, I have a Bachelor's Degree in English and Marketing from Troy University. I specialize in Showit based Wordpress Design and Brand Identity Development; working primarily with small businesses and creatives. With my Degree in English, I offer copywriting services alongside my design services. Bringing a clients vision to life is one of the most exciting aspects of what I do. I have worked with hundreds of clients, in a wide variety of specialities, over the last 15+ years. Creating beautiful and intentional design never gets old.
Outside of my design work and my writing, I’m a single mama to Noah, Jonah, and Sarah and spend almost every spare and down moment running someone to practice or at the ballpark.
