I love your designs. It is all simple but has a lot to offer. I have never tried to use Genesis Framework before. I am currently looking for a good theme to replace my current one. I have been looking for a good free theme but can’t find one that suits my blog. I will give this a try.

    • Courtney says:

I’ve had a hard time finding quality themes that are free. Genesis is worth every penny that I’ve spent and invested in it. Let me know if you have any questions!

  2. annie says:

Seriously, you are one of the best designers I know of. Courtney, these are absolutely gorgeous.

Also, if you ever find yourself in the market for an assistant, give me a holler!

    • Courtney says:

Thank you so much, Annie! That means so much! I may definitely get in touch with you about that down the road. If business continues the way that it is now, I’ll have a real need for one!

  3. Wow! I’m seriously impressed – these designs are beautiful. I really love your use of colors that should technically clash but don’t.

If I can ever afford a custom Genesis theme I’ll be coming to you! Time to start saving my pennies I think…

    • Courtney says:

Thank you, Rosemary! I’d love the chance to work with you someday! The colors are generally the clients preference, but I do offer some insight on occasion if I see that a scheme might clash or cause conflict within the site to the readers. I really appreciate your feedback!

  4. Wow, I love your work!

When you approach design how do you ensure that each site is unique? I love Genesis and I understand how flexible it is, but one still usually includes a header, sidebar, menu etc. Clearly you are doing much more than just changing colors and fonts. Do you ever run out of ideas?

    Thanks,

    Hard Boiled Greg

    • Courtney says:

Thank you, Greg! Each client is different, so I try to approach each new design in that manner…striving to capturing the clients personality for them. I seek information using several core questions that give me insight into what they want for their site and what they hope to achieve. I find myself getting stumped on occasion, but I have a slew of other designers and artists whose work I admire. When I’m stumped, I browse their sites/portfolios until a new idea is triggered. Usually, I see something on their sites that sparks a brand new concept for me.

  5. Barbie says:

All beautiful designs Courtney! May God continue to bless your work!

  6. Brittany says:

I LOVE my design. Courtney is amazing!

  7. Sarah says:

WOW!! You have been busy!! They all look awesome.

  8. Lizzi S. says:

WOW! You have been busy! Your sites are beautiful. Congrats on your success.

  9. Kimberly says:

They all look great! I’m just getting into this myself and am so excited about it!

  10. molly says:

Courtney, I love them ALL. Consequently I am looking to make some changes on my blog and specifically to switch from thesis to genesis. I wonder if you can help me . . . I’ll be sending you an email shortly.
