Putting “Me Time” to Rest

How was everyone’s weekend?

Did you all enjoy Father’s Day?

We had a busy, busy, busy weekend and spent most of it outside (despite the cloud cover and dreariness). We grilled out Friday and Saturday night with different groups of friends, and then spent all day yesterday outside at the park and the pond with Little Man and the dog.

All in all, the weekend was a pretty huge success.

Unlike my attempts at hosting a weekly meme.

I’ve given it a lot of thought, and I think that today is going to be the last Me Time Monday for this little blog. I gave the No Mom Talk Monday meme ten weeks, and have given Me Time eight, and I’ve only ever had about five participants. When I changed it from No Mom Talk to Me Time, I was hoping that more people would be able to participate, but it just didn’t happen that way.

So I think I’m just going to bow out quietly and let what’s done be done.

No reason to continue with something that isn’t going anywhere. It’s hard to jump start a meme, and I may give it another go in the months to come…but it will most likely be in a different form. A different meme.  I’ve thought of doing a post on Monday’s about things that I find on Pinterest that inspire me…but that’s a big maybe that’s still rolling around in my head.
