Praying for you, and so excited to hear the news about your baby boy! And I totally understand the frustration about all the anti-induction talk – I abide by the “to each his own” philosophy on this stuff and sometimes I wish more people would too! Anyway, I was induced with my son and it wasn’t bad – praying for a healthy labor and delivery!

Congratulations! I’ve been following you for a few months and know how exciting it is when a new baby is coming! Can’t wait to meet him!

  5. Hi Courtney!
Wishing you, your baby, and your family the best today! Praying for a healthy baby! I don’t think there is anything wrong with inducing labor, it is your family’s decision and I am confident that it is the best one for you. When I was pregnant with my son, my water broke and I was not having contractions. Unfortunately, we were not able to identify exactly when my water broke and the doctors were concerned that it could have possibly been over 24hrs since my water broke and they recommended inducing labor to prevent possible infection – I was given Pitocin. Although, I have been told that induced contractions are worst then natural contractions, it was all worth it because we did what we felt was best for the baby – and he was born healthy! Enjoy your new little one and I am sure you will have no problem balancing the kids 🙂

    Good luck!
