Pretty good post. I just stumbled upon your blog and wanted to say that I have really enjoyed reading your blog posts. Anyway I’ll be subscribing to your feed and I hope you post again soon.

  2. […] 15-20 minutes that I get to spend in silence rocking my baby boy to bed at night. He’s recently decided that he wanted to be rocked again, and I’m living it up. […]

Here’s hoping. He’s a pretty great cuddler, so I’m thinking we’ll squeeze a few more rockings in before he totally outgrows them. 🙂 And at least you have another baby on the way, since Levi is outgrowing it…but I’m willing to bet when the new baby arrives, he’ll be eager for some time in mommy’s lap.

  4. Adriel says:

LOVE! I love this post and I love this moment you had together. Mine are already getting few and far between with Levi too.. and he’s only 19 months. 🙁 But what a sweet little move by your baby. 🙂 I hope you will have some more before he grows out of your arms completely. <3

  5. oh my gosh….we have one of those rockers too and when they the boys ask for a rocking (which doesn’t happen but once in a blue moon) i always soak it up. makes me a bit teary-eyed thinking about it. lovely post 🙂

    • Courtney K. says:

Thank you, Michelle! I get teary eyed when I think about rocking Noah, even though he’s not even three yet. The constant reminder that it won’t be that way for long, is always there.

  6. Branson says:

So sweet! I still rock A every day, and will for as long as he lets me 🙂

    • Courtney K. says:

Noah’s not into rocking every day, but every few days I can squeeze one in there. Or at least some good cuddles on the couch. 🙂
