  1. Voni Harris says:

Courtney, I am so sorry that people have been riding you over YOUR decisions. They don’t know what you’re going through or what the doctor’s said to you. Nor should they. Relax and enjoy your boys! You are more than capable!

  2. Margaret says:

Happy BIRTHday, Mr. Jonah! Praying for everything to go smoothly and that both of you are delivered healthy!

  3. Rachelle says:

All will go well, Courtney. And the blessing of welcoming #2 into the picture is that Noah will make that welcome even sweeter. He’s spent the whole pregnancy knowing he’s about to have a new role as big brother – one he will fill expertly.

And it is not a competition. Your baby, your body, your choice. Regardless of how these babes get here, your love, judgment and faith are what counts when parenting. You’ve got this.

  4. Alison says:

Good luck, Courtney and I can’t wait to meet Jonah!
How you birth your baby is YOUR choice. Sounds to me like you already know that and you’re comfortable with it. That’s all that matters.
    Have a safe delivery.

PS: You can handle two kids. Of course you can. 🙂

  5. What sweet, sweet words! Your abilities far exceed your photography and motherhood. Being able to write as you do is also a blessing from God. I hope that you are keeping a book of these special blogs for your boys to read later in life. (you should scrapbook!) My prayers are with you and your family this morning, trusting God’s will for you and your new son.

  6. Alison says:

Good luck tomorrow! I’ve enjoyed watching you go through this journey. I too am a military spouse stationed in a really remote area so I can relate to a lot of the things you are going through. You’ve been such an inspiration to me as my husband and I tried to get pregnant. We’re now expecting our first little one in April. Thank you for sharing this special time in your life on your blog.

  7. i do not know you but know what you’re going through in a sense. I had my first baby in July and so badly wanted to just got into labor naturally..well that didn’t happen and I had to be induced like you are. I had all the fears of something going wrong or having to have a c-section..but I prayed and prayed and I will pray for you too…everything ended up working out just how God planned it. I was induced with cytotec and had a beautiful baby girl 10 hours later. Praying the same for you!

  8. Barbie says:

I don’t know you, but you are a beautiful person and an amazing mother. You made the choice that was best for you and your baby. No one, and I mean no one, should ever question that. Be at peace my friend. Soon you will meet your new baby. And take it from a mom of four who works outside the home full time — you will have enough time and love for another. Praying for you!

  9. Tonya says:

I love this, Courtney! I’m sure everything will be wonderful tomorrow and I KNOW you weighted all the options and ultimately did what was best for you and your family. Sending good thoughts. xo

  10. Bonnie says:

Induction is not always bad. The only thing that matters is that the baby is diapered, clothed, fed and loved. All the naysayers can just Shhhhhhh. Hoping for a fast labor and delivery for you tomorrow! 🙂
