Hope everyone had a safe and happy 4th of July. Despite the rain and somewhat gloomy weather, we tried to spend the day out and about, enjoying slightly warmer temperatures and a very rare day off for my husband. The boys enjoyed the little bit of sunshine and I managed to snag a photo of them together…happy, smiling and just being themselves.
I just stumbled across your blog, and I too shoot with 50mm 1.4 and 35mm 2.0… but having trouble get tack sharp photos for photos like this… farther away. Can you tell me what you settings are for this so your faces are sharp in the photo (especially your f stop)? And what your focus point is on?

Hi Courtney,
I just stumbled across your blog, and I too shoot with 50mm 1.4 and 35mm 2.0… but having trouble get tack sharp photos for photos like this… farther away. Can you tell me what you settings are for this so your faces are sharp in the photo (especially your f stop)? And what your focus point is on?
Thanks!
I love this photo.
Thank you!! <3
I haven’t been on your blog (or any) in a while. Can’t wait to follow you on instagram.. I’ve always loved your photography.
Thank you Alicia!! You haven’t missed much around here. I barely have a chance to blog anymore.
That’s an adorable photo of your handsome boys. 🙂
Love the photo!
Thank you Alison!
Awesome photo I’m wondering how much grass the little man ate!
LOL Not too much. I wasn’t worried about the grass as much as I was the rocks! Fortunately, he was only on the ground for a few minutes. 😉
Such a great photo. I feel old seeing your li’l man sitting up like that. Feels like he was just born yesterday!
Tell me about it! I can’t believe that he’s sitting up and on the move already. time goes by so fast doesn’t it?
