This week was as busy as the others for us. Husband had duty yesterday, little man and I had a play date, and (wait for it)…
The Sun has been SHINING.
Which is a very RARE even here in Kodiak. We’ve taken full advantage of the sunshine, and I’ve been out with our jogging stroller for a few walks and love it. This place would be heaven for us if the sun would shine more often…oh, and if there was a Target. And an Olive Garden.
Ahem.
Anyway. Here are my favorite reads for this week! Make sure you check them out!
Parenting Do’s & Don’ts (Part Two) by Shell @ Things I Can’t Say: Like I told Shell in the comments, I wish that I’d had this as a book when I was getting ready to birth Little Man. Too many moms are afraid to let their imperfections be known and act as if they have it all together. No mom is perfect, and most of us are a few crayon’s short of a box most days. This list is the second part of this series, and I encourage you read them. They are both humorous and HONEST.
How to Use Google Reader in Real Format by I Heart Faces: This is the tutorial that is going to save your blogging sanity. Now that I’m on WordPress, I do all of my blog reading in Google Reader. It is CRAZY frustrating to go to my reader, pull up the blogs, click the link, read the blog, and THEN comment (Because, of course, you can’t comment from within Google Reader. That would be too easy and actually make sense). THIS is the best thing. Ever. You can drag a little button to your menu bar, click it, and it will take you to the ACTUAL blog instantly. Best of all? When you are ready for a new blog, just click the button again, and another blog from your reader pops up. Seriously. Go do this. Now.
And in case you missed any of my posts this week, here are my favorites:
Hope you all have a great weekend!
Hi Courtney! Thanks for featuring my post – I’ve just seen this now 🙂
Will check out the others too – they sound great!
