It’s been an amazing week for me. Amazing here [on the blog], amazing for me personally and spiritually…just all around one of those really fantastic weeks. And I’m hoping to share some of those good vibes with all of you today! It’s Friday, which means that it’s time to feature some more of my favorite posts throughout the week. Let me say that I try extremely hard to bring new blogs into the spotlight each week, but there are times when some of my old favorites just post remarkable blogs and I have to share them with you. Here are some of my favorites from this week!
* What do you want to see? by Mary @ Giving up on Perfect via (in)courage: I absolutely fell head over heels in love with this post. I am an overly-critical person…to myself. I critique everything. I see every single one of my flaws. And like her friend she talks about in the post, I have the hardest time accepting compliments. This post was beautiful and well written…a real eye opener.
* Resurrection Rolls by Courtney @ Women Living Well: This is such a remarkable and fun idea for Easter morning breakfast! Seriously….go check these out.
* I wanted to be someone by Jhen @ From Here to Eternity: Such a heartfelt post and a great reminder that no matter where we are in life, no matter what roles we have taken on, or what career we have chosen…we still have two vitally important roles that we need NEVER forget about. And for those of us who feel stuck in the same things daily, this was a perfect reminder that we are serving a greater purpose than we realize.
* Stressed by Ashley @ Ramblings & Photo’s: Because we’ve all been there, because we all battle it. This post is a perfect recipe for how to get over that stress and move on to more exciting and fun things. Stress stinks and it drags EVERYONE down…
Sorry this list is a little bit shorter this week, guys. I’m working on the outline for Project 16:9 and hoping to get it up by Sunday [at least the first few weeks worth]. And I’m also brainstorming another new idea [because I need to try to take on something else…hehe]. I mentioned in my last post that I was thinking of starting up a class/workshop on how to edit photo’s in Photoshop Elements using Free Actions, Textures and what not. I know there are lots and lots of places online that you could find this, and some really great workshops/mentoring sessions that focus on Photoshop CS, but I haven’t found any for Elements. If you think you might be interested [and it seems that many of you are] please let me know in the comments or via Twitter, Facebook, etc.
