If you have followed me for any amount of time, you know that I love all things office supplies. This year, I partnered with some of the best Planner providers currently on the market to help you choose the best planner for yourself for the upcoming year! While these planners are geared and marketed toward a wide array of audiences, I found that each one is great for the busy woman on the go. Whether you’re a busy mom, a Blogger, a small business owner or all of the above, you’re sure to find something here that works best for you and your family.
I have been a big fan of Katie and her work at Hosanna Revival long before she landed a partnership with Crossway. Painting is a talent that I always wished I had and Katie is so beyond gifted at it. When she agreed to partner with me to share about her amazing planner, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it.
Aside from the fact that it’s beautiful and the paperweight is really great, it’s a simple and clean design. This layout includes verses, beautiful illustrations and plenty of writing space in the columns. There are no hours listed in the columns, making it ideal for planning to-do lists without the additional hourly slots taking up space.
This was my planner of choice for the 2019-2020 year. I absolutely adore Ericka and her mission: faithfulness over success. I honestly don’t remember how I discovered this planner, but I knew when I saw it that it was one that would change the way that I go about my days. One of my favorite features is the ability to include my sermon notes and my Quiet Time notes or verses right there with my weekly schedule.
This 2020 planner comes in three different cover designs: Teal, Charcoal and Floral. It also includes a section for Quarterly Goals (perfect for pairing with your Powersheets!) and your month in review. Another one of my favorite parts of this planner is that there’s a place to write down one thing each day that you are looking forward to as well as something good that happened at the end of the day. It’s been a key element in helping me focus on Gratitude throughout the year.
Okay, I am REALLY excited about this one. I found Stephanie through Instagram and fell in love with her product, her mission and her passion. She has created a beautiful product that pairs so well with the things I am most passionate about: Prayer, Planning and my personal relationship with Christ.
One of the things I love about this planner is that it’s small enough to go in my purse without taking up too much space. Unlike some of the other planners I have looked at, this one isn’t hardback but has a softer more flexible cover. The inside has space for both scheduling, to-do lists, gratitude and prayer. You can see a really detailed full video walkthrough right here. There is a monthly overview section that allows for you to write your goals and things you’re aiming to accomplish each day (again, perfectly pairing with those Powersheets from Cultivate what Matters) and a section in the back with lined pages for prayer journaling. This would be a great companion with your Yearly Prayer Journal from Val Marie Paper.
I have followed Jane Johnson for a short eternity…I originally discovered her through her Graphic Design and Photography work (she is amazing at both). I followed her story as she battled infertility and then celebrated with her when she announced her first (and then second and now third) pregnancy. Her story is a beautiful one and her weekly Dear Monday emails are some of my favorite. I was elated when announced that she had compiled a planner as well.
Like I said, I love Jane’s original Dear Monday emails; and I love that the devotions in this planner are of the same great quality. Unlike a lot of devotions I have used in the past, rather than brand new devotions that don’t have any relation to the last one, the devotions in this planner continue and flow from week to week. There’s also a daily Bible reading included on the to-do list for each day to guide you through reading the entire Bible in a year. Each day has a place to write down something you’re thankful for (I’m allll about cultivating gratitude) and Bible study tips. A few things to note: this is a LARGE planner. This is not one that you can stick in your purse and carry with you. This is one that I will keep on my desk and use daily with my Bible Study and Quiet time. It may be larger, but it is hands down one of my favorite for the upcoming year and I can’t wait to use it.
Kayse Pratt is a woman after my own heart. We met on Instagram and connected over our love of planners and paper products. Kayse, like me, has tried and used multiple planners and simply could not find one that worked for her. Rather than continue to purchase planners that didn’t fit her needs, she created her own: The S.O.S. Planner (Steadfast over Scattered)!
I love that Kayse has created something that is so versatile! The S.O.S. Planner is unique in that:
This planner is the brain child of a fellow planner addict and includes so many extras! If you aren’t ready to splurge on an already printed planner, want something completely flexible and need it, like now…this would the perfect planner for you! Make sure you head over and check out all of the extra features and bonuses that are included!
I first saw this planner when Valerie Woerner of Val Marie Paper shared about it on her Instagram. I loved the way that she was able to do such an in-depth walk through and was excited when I had the opportunity to partner with the Full Focus Team to share about their new BOLD Collection!
I love that these planners are setup for Quarterly use. While I love having access to the full year at my desk, this planner is perfect for tossing in my purse and keeping my upcoming events within arms reach. The colors of the new BOLD Collection is absolutely gorgeous (I went with the Poppy version) and comes in four different colors. . These planners also work really well for someone who is Goal Oriented and doesn’t use the Powersheets (or would like to incorporate them all together). These are not dated so you can choose your color, choose your months and date it accordingly.
I have used Lara Casey’s PowerSheets for almost five years. When I saw that the 2020 version had an actual calendar built into it, I knew that it would be phenomenal. If you are goal-oriented in any way this would be ideal for you!
PowerSheets are scientifically backed to help you knock out your goals. I have used them every year and make great progress on the things that I set out to do within the year. These include prep work to help you figure out what has been working for you and what hasn’t, beautiful stickers and monthly calendars to help keep track of deadlines and progress. This is not a daily/weekly calendar so if you are looking for something you can use every single day for appointments, this wouldn’t be what you’d want. BUT if you’re looking for something to keep track of monthly deadlines, goals and help you create new habits, this is perfect!
I originally came across Heather Vreeland on Instagram through the Hope Fuel account. Y’all know I love beautiful photos and beautiful products. The Hope Planner jumped off the screen at me and I loved the mission behind it.
As someone who frequently has to keep post-it notes or scratch paper handy during my quiet time for all of those stray thoughts, I love that this planner provides plenty of room for all of it. There’s a section for me to write out a scripture or verse, pen a prayer, maintain my schedule for the day, jot down dinner and list my to-do’s all in one place. Each Sunday is a double page spread with more room for sermon notes, praise & thanksgiving and the usual scripture and prayer spot. This planner is PERFECT for busy women on the go. The sections are short and not for longer, more in-depth study.
I hope that this was helpful! I know there are SO MANY planners on the market right now and I didn’t even include the bigger brands such as The Simplified Planner by Emily Ley or the new planner from Whitney English. There are really too many planners to list them all, but these are a few of my new favorites that I hope will help you make the decision about which is best for you as we approach 2020! Happy Planning, friends!
