That stuff you're afraid to talk about...the sin you think is too messy? We unpack that here...

But God wants to use those ugly parts, too. Those broken memories, those hidden struggles, and those less than beautiful moments.

God wants to use the ugly stuff, too...

Dear Noah, This is it baby boy. The last letter I will ever write to you… as a two year old. Because in exactly one month, you will be turning THREE. How did that happen? Didn’t you get the memo that you weren’t supposed to grow up so fast? That you needed to slow down, […]

The Last Letter

I’m kind of sitting here at the computer aimlessly trying to figure out what to share for today. Nothing is coming to mind right off the bat. Tends to happen on occasion for those of us who blog. Inspiration comes and inspiration goes. Post ideas come and then they pass. I have a few things […]

Another great (and busy!) week filled to the brim with fabulous posts. Seriously, I don’t know how you guys continue to do it. I sit down every single day with a notebook and a pen to jot down posts to include in this feature every week. And every single week, I find myself sitting here […]

The latest preview for a new design I’m working on for Kathryn! These are two of the three logos I designed for her new site. Of course, I can’t reveal the one she chose until her site is life, but it was my favorite of the three (as well as hers obviously).

Singing Through the Rain

When I was pregnant with Little Man, one of the only gifts that I requested from anyone was a Glider Rocker. Somewhere I could sit with my new baby and relax, nurse, and collapse at the end of an exhausting day and cuddle. When we put the nursery together and were in the process of fixing everything […]

If you follow me on InstaGram (and you totally should be…@MrsCKirkland), then you know that I’ve been shooting pictures here and there for the last few weeks. But I’ve totally dropped the ball on adding them to my blog (and linking up with the fabulous weekly memes that are aimed at iPhone photos). So with […]

Three+ weeks of InstaGram Photos

This is becoming one of my favorite posts of the week (even though I tend to miss a day or two here and there…like last week). And I love the feedback that I receive from all of you guys on how much you look forward to these posts. It especially excites me to hear that […]

No Words

Living with the mistakes of the past is hard. No matter how badly you want to move forward and let go… Sometimes it can be difficult. Despite the road that life has led me down, letting go of the disappointment that came from flunking out of college only two semesters in, has been one of my […]
