That stuff you're afraid to talk about...the sin you think is too messy? We unpack that here...

Through good and bad, sadness and joy, my heart lies with showing the goodness of God in all seasons. Especially the messy ones.

How to Drive Away your Readers | Blogging Effectively Series

I wrote about the completely inaccurate (in my opinion) list of Top 50 Mommy Bloggers as chosen by Babble.com a few weeks ago. While there is absolutely no way that I could sit and list my favorite 50 blogs, I do want to give end of the year credit to my favorite ten. Blogging is […]

The Power of Social Media | Blogging Effectively Series

First of all, let me say how excited I am about the feedback I got from my introductory post yesterday. It seems that I’m not the only one who gets frustrated and confused by this blogging world. I searched several different areas of the blogosphere and have spent a lot of time analyzing the “Big […]

Developing your Niche | Blogging Effectively Series

I’ve been thinking about the “mommy blogging” world a lot lately. About how some mom’s, whether they ever intend to or not, just make it. This is something that I have been thinking about really hard for the past several, several months. Maybe because life has taken a few twists and turns that we didn’t expect and there are some things that just haven’t always worked out the way that we wanted to. I think my mind and my heart […]

Mommy Friendships

Let’s face it. Whether we like it or not, the media is easily the most influential aspect of our society. Television, internet, "Smart Phones" and Social Networking have overwhelmed our culture and taken the mainstream society by storm. And it’s not looking like it’s going anywhere. With the seemingly never-ending array of technological advances, it […]

Christianity and Social Media-Can we have both?

Normally I don’t solicit for votes or clicks or nominations. I don’t beg for people to like me or anything like that. And I hope that this post won’t come across like that. I was blog hopping yesterday and ran across Momversation…another one of these fabulous little communities where mom bloggers can come together, inspire […]

A Fresh Voice

At the age of 21, I went from being a single, fun-loving, do what I want when I want kind of girl to an Active duty military wife and mother of a newborn. Oh yeah. You read that correct- marriage and motherhood in one year. Marrying into the military meant a move…a BIG move to […]
