Through good and bad, sadness and joy, my heart lies with showing the goodness of God in all seasons. Especially the messy ones.
Every day society tells us that life has to be perfect and orderly to be beautiful. Our day-to-day should be a nothing less than perfect. We need a flawless aesthetic, a five year plan and perfectly curated social media. There's nothing glamorous about disorder and uncertainty. It's not "normal" to struggle.
But God wants to use those ugly parts, too. Those broken memories, those hidden struggles, and those less than beautiful moments.

One of the most frustrating things about trying to get pregnant, is dealing with the comments and input from people who A) don’t know that you are trying to conceive and therefore offer up their opinions on why you should be; or B) know that you are trying for another baby and continuously ask you […]
This is supposed to be my Monday Morning Coffee post, but considering that it’s not quite midnight on Sunday evening and I’m doing my writing now, I’m just going to call it what it is: A big fat random array of words and jumbled thoughts. That I’m going to save and post first thing in […]
(If you are immediately curious about the title of this post, skip down to point number three…) It’s been a chaotic week (again…it’s sort of becoming a routine). I never wanted to […]
How many of you know someone who has battled Alzheimer’s? Back in the early 2000’s (can’t remember which year specifically), my grandmother, the one I referred to dearly as “Maw” was diagnosed with the disease. It started slowly, but progressed faster and faster until eventually there was nothing left of the person that she once […]

Dear Noah, Two months, kiddo. That’s how long it will be before you turn three years old. Two very short months. (A little less than) Eight weeks. That’s all. This month has been one of adjustments for the two of us. Mommy started working pretty much full time from home, and you are having to […]

But, you guys have been crazy busy writing amazing content this week! I had a hard time narrowing my list down to just a few […]
I’m so angry with my Window’s Live Writer Program this morning, because this post didn’t go up when it was supposed to. So, make sure you go read this, even though it was late! : ) Today I’m Guest Posting for Jessica @ Freckles and Dirt! She’s a super sweet gal, who’s also a photoshop […]
