God wants to use the ugly stuff, too...

I Became “that” Blogger

I glanced down at my calendar the other day and realized that it had been exactly four years since I bought my first SLR camera. Four years. Where does time go? Ask anyone who pursues and enjoys photography as much as I do and they will most likely tell you that their camera is like […]

Four Years with my SLR

Last month I mentioned that I had teamed up with a wonderful group of ladies from Clickin Moms to do a monthly Blog Circle to push ourselves to be creative with our photography. Each month we’re given a theme and then we post the photos from that particular theme on our sites. This months challenge […]

One thing everyone told me when I was pregnant with Jonah was that I would have no trouble loving both of my boys the same. That while I may love them differently, it would still be the same kind of love…the same amount of love. That part is true. I love Jonah as much as […]

This post is hard for me to write. But, I’m really struggling right now with parenting two boys. Not in a “I’m still sleep deprived” and “Having a baby is so hard” kind of way. But in a trying to show both of my boys how much I love them kind of way. Jonah is […]

I have a confession to make… living in Alaska has been one of the hardest things I’ve had to do. The summers here are beautiful and shiny and bright and full of sunshine and warm air (sometimes). Summer is full of camping and hiking and taking walks and trips to the park. It’s full of […]

I Can’t Remember…

Can you guys believe that this little dumpling is two months old already? Actually, he’s two months and a week old, but who’s keeping count? This last month has been a good one. We’ve started to settle in to being a family of four and everything is falling into place. I finally got over the […]
