Through good and bad, sadness and joy, my heart lies with showing the goodness of God in all seasons. Especially the messy ones.
Every day society tells us that life has to be perfect and orderly to be beautiful. Our day-to-day should be a nothing less than perfect. We need a flawless aesthetic, a five year plan and perfectly curated social media. There's nothing glamorous about disorder and uncertainty. It's not "normal" to struggle.
But God wants to use those ugly parts, too. Those broken memories, those hidden struggles, and those less than beautiful moments.

I wrote about the completely inaccurate (in my opinion) list of Top 50 Mommy Bloggers as chosen by Babble.com a few weeks ago. While there is absolutely no way that I could sit and list my favorite 50 blogs, I do want to give end of the year credit to my favorite ten. Blogging is […]

I’ve been thinking about the “mommy blogging” world a lot lately. About how some mom’s, whether they ever intend to or not, just make it. They start these blogs, some of them without any decent content, and BAM. They start raking in thousands per month on advertisements and promotions that are visibly evident on every […]
This is something that I have been thinking about really hard for the past several, several months. Maybe because life has taken a few twists and turns that we didn’t expect and there are some things that just haven’t always worked out the way that we wanted to. I think my mind and my heart […]
I was an OUTSTANDING English Student-both in college and in high school. While I make no claims at speaking in grammatically correct jargon all the time, there are some things that drive me absolutely insane. “Ain’t.” Double Negatives [I haven’t never…or worse: I ain’t never]. Misuse of the there, their, and they’re. Or misuse of […]
