There is                  in the chaos,

Mess,

there is meaning in the

We need a flawless aesthetic, a five year plan and perfectly curated social media. There's nothing glamorous about disorder and uncertainty. It's not "normal" to struggle.

Better than Being a Super Hero

I’m really excited about today’s Feature Friday Blogger. Katie and I go way back; all the way to our college and pageant days. She knew me during some of my craziest times and could probably tell some horror stories from my time in college. No matter, she’s always been one of those genuinely beautiful people, […]

Feature Friday: Not Just Us

These last two weeks have been a bit of whirlwind around our house. The husband made rank and found out he was advancing in May or June; which is such a blessing. He works so hard and loves what he does so much. It makes me happy to see him succeed doing something he loves. […]

Move to Manual: Wrapping it Up

I haven’t done one of these posts in a while (the whole tagging someone and answering questions thing, that is). But, since I seem to be lacking in creativity lately and I’m pretty sure my readers are bored to tears, I thought I’d give this a go. Who doesn’t love a good interview now and […]

Move to Manual: Understanding Metering

I feel like everything on my blog lately is the same: confessions about my lack of time to do much of anything… expressions of how utterly exhausted I am most days… excitement for all of the things that I want to do… and happiness over the design waiting list that continues to grow. Let me emphasize […]

Move to Manual: Understanding Focal Points

I have a million things that I could talk about today. I could talk about the tears I shed when someone I consider to be a dear friend, though we’ve never met in person, messaged me on Twitter to let me know that she was expecting. She wanted to tell me, personally, before announcing it […]
