This weekend we have been pretty low-key and relaxed. The hubs had to work yesterday, so I did some more work on Project 16:9 [which you can read all about right here], worked on the little guy’s baby scrapbook, and started brainstorming some ideas for the new Photoshop Elements Workbook I’ve decided to put together. Hoping to get that going and available for purchase by May 1 or the 15th at the latest. Which means I’ve got to get to work. That’s a little less than a month if I shoot for the first. Add in there Project 16:9, and I’ve got my work cut out for me. But I’m excited and eager to get start and to see what kind of response I get.
I have been full of creative energy lately. More so on the writing front than the photography front, but that’s ok. It always comes and goes in spells. And I’m certain that within the coming months there are going to many, many creative opportunities as far as my photography goes. I’ve been brainstorming a few new ideas and spending way too much time on Pinterest [totally addicting and a definite must for anyone who is creatively centered…find me!] I’m hoping to find someone with a willing little girl to be a part of a vintage inspired tea party shoot…but that’s going to have to come during the summer when I get some more props together and whatnot.
I have new readers!! If you’re new and haven’t commented yet, make sure to drop me a line in the comment section so I can come visit! I love meeting new people and all of you who read my blog mean the world to me. I hope to always, always maintain contact with you guys. Even if I can’t always jump back to your blog on a daily basis, I do read your blogs and your comments keep me going. I hope to never become one of those “big bloggers” who forgets that her followers and readers are the reason she is where she is…which is why I am so adamant about responding to your comments; even if it is just a simply thank you.
All of that randomness to say that the first assignment for Project 16:9 is ready! The lesson and the link list for you to join with will be up at 8:00 am on Wednesday morning [eastern time]. I recommend that you read this first, and then work on your assignment this week. I really hope that you guys will consider joining in with the writing assignments publically. You don’t have to, but positive reinforcement is going to be a big help with this, so if you link up you’ll be sure that others come visit and encourage you.
Ready for the assignment {this one is really easy and fun}?!
Write a blog post [or journal privately] about what you would like to see yourself accomplish. This can be relative to your career, your marriage, your spiritual life—anyplace you want to implement change and see things progress. Should you choose to focus on your career [and this could really be done in any aspect if you get creative], talk about what you would do with your life if there was nothing to hinder you. Imagine that there is no financial strain, no childcare to work out…just YOU and your biggest goal. Dream BIG here, people! Make sure you have that ready for linkup on Wednesday!
Hope you guys have a wonderful Sunday! See you tomorrow for No Mom Talk Monday!
