I wanted you guys to see what I’ve been dealing with up to lately. You know, since I’ve been somewhat MIA…Business is GOOD which means that I am super busy. I should be caught up and on a slightly normal routine by Monday! But for now…
…Cleaning up messes like this. Chocolate on the face (and clothes. And carpet. And walls…) as a result of eating Raisinets unattended while mommy was working on a new website design.
…Baking cakes and enjoying the company of good friends.
Little Man loves helping bake. Actually, I think he more or less just enjoys “cleaning up” after the baking is done. He’s not a huge fan of brownie batter, but he loves cleaning up the bowl when we make cakes. Oh! And homemade icing. Which is what he’s enjoying in these photos. Made my grandma’s would-be-world-famous-if-it-wasn’t-a-secret-recipe Peanut Cake last weekend. De-Lish.
…And enjoying the last bit of summer before the Alaskan winter rolls around.
The temperatures the weather is already starting to change. The fishermen are calling for an early winter this year. We shall see. It’s already starting to feel like fall outside. Which is great, considering football season starts in a few weeks.
I’ve taken a TON of photos in the last week or two, but haven’t had a chance to upload them and go through them yet. I know there are some really fun ones of the landscaping and scenery here, as well as some of the little guy. Hoping to spend some time this weekend editing so that I can share with all of you!
Dang, I can’t believe those were Raisinets that did that! I thought it was chocolate mousse until I read the caption. I’ve risked giving my girls Spaghettios so I could finish a writing project, but the clean up took twice as long as it would have if I just sat with them and then wrote later. But sometimes we just have to do what we have to do! That’s awesome you’re designing a site; I’m going to check out the link next!
LOL I am still baffled by the fact that he did this with Rainsinets, too. I mean…really?! LOL And spaghetti is a MESS in our house. We all love to eat it, but I hate the cleaning afterward.
I’ve pretty much closed down my Etsy store (the fees were getting a little ridiculous) but I’ve thought about adding a shopping cart here on my blog for prints. Let me know if you want to order one and what size. 🙂
yes, i would love to! i don’t know about right away because i’m still working out financial stuff what with moving to a new place and school starting, but i’m definitely interested. what sizes would you offer? and would you be able to give me quotes on what the sizes would cost?

Whatever he was eating I think I want some too. But I’ll also need a wipey.
LOL Right?! We use wipes like they are going out of style here.
He’s adorable, with or without chocolate on his face! And I LOVE the new design1
Thank you, Barbie! I agree…he’s pretty dang cute, if I do so say so myself. ; )

{SNICKER} that’s all I can do is laugh. Oh my….. ta hee hee
LOL tell me about it. I just laughed. What’s the point in doing anything else, right? 🙂
Haha. Your son is too cute!
And I LOVE that landscape you posted. Do you still sell prints of your photos? Because if you do, I would love that landscape.

CUTE! Messy (& delicious) fun is the very best kind! Lovely photos!! 😀
I agree! 🙂 Chocolate is my FAVORITE.
This is cute if it fresh. If your little boy comes to you with dry chocolate in his ears, nose and hairs (and hells know where else) – it not cute!
Haha! True enough!!
Ha ha. Love the messy face. He is too cute.
Thanks, Sarah!
He is adorable! I’ve heard it’s really beautiful there in the summer! I definitely want to see some more pictures!
It IS! If I could ever get around to editing them and whatnot…..ahem. Maybe at some point this week.
I really love a messy face…specifically a messy face photo. 🙂
LOL Me, too. Totally makes for a cute picture.
