It’s finally Friday…and I’m shutting down

Well, after a long, busy, chaotic and drawn out week, we’ve finally made it to Friday.

After building up my new Design Website, losing every bit of content I had on this blog, redoing it and republishing over 350 posts, and generating an entirely new blog design and website for Amy @ Simply B Photos…I am exhausted.

Speaking of Amy and Simply B, in honor of her new design she’s giving away a TON of prizes at her new place. A ton, as in over $1300 worth of stuff!  If you’re in the Sacramento area, somewhere in Hawaii, or around Kodiak make sure you check it out! She’s giving away seats in her workshop plus FIVE Copies of her workbook.

But, I have another design to start on already. And I’m hoping that since I’m giving away the prize at Reflections of Something this week for the “Edit Me” challenge…and since I just launched a brand new (pretty fabulous) design for Amy, that my to-do list will stay this way. That I’ll stay busy and that business will grow.

I’ve felt so accomplished this week. And I’m extremely proud of myself and how I’ve handled this sudden surge of things that  I need to do.

It feels great to be doing something that I really and truly enjoy.

To be taking steps toward becoming my own boss, owning my own business, generating revenue for our family doing something that I love.

It’s a huge, huge blessing. And I have been humbled and beyond grateful this week for this opportunity.

But today…

Now that this design is done…

Now that my blog is back up and running (although I’m not completely satisfied with everything in my sidebar just yet…)

Now that it’s almost the weekend…

I’m taking a few days off.

I already determined that the weekends, my “office” would be closed.

So at 4:00 pm today, you can consider me shut down for the weekend.

I’ll be using my down time to catch up on all of your blogs. I’ve been a bad blog friend this week, and I apologize. I missed reading what everyone had going on. But I promise I’ll be catching up this weekend!
