Feature Friday

Another really great, and busy week for me! There is a LOT going on here on my end of the screen…lots of new and up and coming things I hope to be able to share with you soon. My weeks tend to spiral out of control on about Wednesday or Thursday afternoon, so that’s why Friday’s are usually slow days around here. I just haven’t found the time in my schedule to write up a super fantastic post for you guys for Friday’s. Instead, I leave you with some really great posts from some other really great bloggers!

• Find the Balance by Mama Kat:  In this post, Mama Kat answered the question I’ve been asking myself over and over and over again lately…how do I find the balance between being a mom, and juggling the five billion other things that vie for my time? Between marriage, motherhood, “me time,” and trying my darndest (is that a word? Darndest…darnest?) to get a business…well, actually two businesses up and off the ground, I just don’t have time to do it all. Go read this post. Like, now.

• You are the Author of your Happily Ever After by Katja @ Skimbaco Lifestyle: You guys know how hardcore I am about the perspective and the outlook we have on life. This post fits perfectly with my “you choose your own mindset” mantra. Katja wrote a pretty interesting (and thought provoking post) a few days ago about how to determine whether or not your husband was cheating on you…and this is her follow-up. I encourage you to head over and read them both…and then evaluate your mentality.

• A Life Without Kids by Kimberly @ Mama’s Monologues: I found this blog through the “Pour Your Heart Out” meme this past Wednesday, and I have to say I’m hooked. This post hit the nail on the head…life is so much different without children. There are dozens upon dozens of things that we used to could do, but can’t anymore. But then again…are those things really worth it? Are they worth not having children for? Go read this post to find out.

• 10 Things Never to Say to a SAHM as seen on SFGate: Umm…yeah. Every time someone says one of these things to me, I cringe. Especially when it’s someone who works “outside of the home” and says something about me being a SAHM in that judgey-McJudgerson voice. Being a Stay-at-home mom is HARD Work. Very hard work. It’s not all cupcakes and rainbows seven days a week.
