Another week, another list of great posts! So happy you guys are enjoying this series. I get the greatest comments and sweetest emails from those who are featured and those who love finding new reads and follows through this series. That was my hope when I started this—that new followers would emerge and new readerships formed. So I’m glad to know I’m succeeding!
Self Discipline by Darcy @ My 3 Boybarians: I loved this post [boy that’s original…I never say that…]. I think I liked it because it was so real. So honest. And it gives [gave?] such an insightful and open look at what life is really like. Overwhelming, busy, never enough time to do everything that needs doing. But there are ways to get things done…and Darcy talks about them. But you’ll have to go read her post to see.
Carpe Diem by Carlotta @ Pastor Girl’s Ponderings: This post was a great reminder about what kind of things really matter. We all get so caught up in the “need to and should do’s” of our own lives and we tend to overlook the tiny things that will vanish soon enough. Her post was a fabulous reminder that there are some days when you just gotta kick your shoes off and play…without worrying about anything else.
Don’t Pull on the Curtains by Rachel @ Finding Joy: I found this blog through her daughter’s blog [Aspire] and love, love, love it. This post really resonated with me because there are some days when I find the tension and the anxiety that comes from little hands and little messes is too much. She reminded me that soon enough my little boy won’t be little at all. Oh! And did I mention that Rachel is raising SEVEN kids? 🙂
My Path into Unfamiliar Territory by Melissa @ A Familiar Path: I think this post was placed in front of me for a reason. I connected and identified with everything Melissa said here, and even spent a good portion of my day on Tuesday reflecting and praying over this very same thing. God placed this post in front of me Tuesday evening just because he knew that I needed it. Love when he works things out like that. Now…you should go read it too!
