So, remember a couple of weeks ago when I said that I was moving Feature Friday to Saturday’s because I was missing some great posts on Fridays that were never able to “make the cut” because I kept scheduling this feature too early? Yeah. About that. My friend Annie left me a comment and suggested that since I’m going to keep doing this feature on Saturday, that I call what once was Feature Friday, Spotlight Saturday. So, I am.
Comparison Always Breeds Discontentment by Monica @ Pixel Perfect: Back when I first started reading her blog, Monica was doing a series of posts on occasion called “Pillow Talk” where she discussed some of the more intimate issues within marriage. This post was one of those, “I’m pretty sure you’re talking to me” kind of posts. Monica talks about discontentment and how comparing our husbands to that perfect husband we have envisioned in our mind can lead to big problems, both within our marriage and in our bedrooms.
Let’s Talk about the First Trimester by Lauren @ Me & Mine: I don’t know if Lauren meant for this post to mean so much to someone else, but it did to me. I don’t know if you guys are familiar with her blog, but Lauren is one of those really heartfelt and honest bloggers who I admire and adore. She’s pregnant with her second child and this post addresses every. single. fear. that I have with getting pregnant and having another baby. It’s brutally honest, but so beautifully written.
Success Starts with You by Katja @ Skimbaco Lifestyle: After this post and this post, it was clear that someone was trying to tell me something. It doesn’t matter what we want to do or what we dream up, we can’t sit around and wait for it to come to us. And we can’t wait for someone to achieve our success for us. This is a GREAT post, and if you aren’t following Katja’s blog, then you don’t know what you are missing out on.
Being Happy With Me by Laura @ Between the Lines: I’ve been following Laura’s blog for a long time. She’s one of those bloggers I just know I would be BFF’s with if we lived anywhere near one another. This post? I’ve never read or heard anyone put weight loss and body image into such a a great perspective. Granted, Laura’s a gorgeous chicka, but she’s worked her butt off to lose the baby weight she gained having her precious little guy, Ethan. Go read her post. It’s sure to inspire you to look at yourself in a different light.
And in case you missed any of my posts from this week, be sure to check out these favorites:

Judgmental Mommy: This is one of my most controversial posts, but the feedback has been amazing. Are you a Judgmental mom? In what areas do you find yourself passing judgment on other mom’s?
