I haven’t shared very many photos here lately, but that doesn’t mean that I’m not taking any. The weeks have been busy, but the husband took a couple of weeks off to study for his Advancement Service-wide Exam coming up and get ready for the Little Guy’s birthday. Which means that I’m hoping to take some down time as well.
We started up a Writer’s Group here on the Island, so I’ve been reading and writing like a mad woman lately. In the last three weeks I’ve finished three novels, and I’m starting on the fourth [Stephen King | On Writing, The Help by Kathryn Stockett, and The Best of Me by Nicholas Sparks in case anyone was curious]. Little Man is FINALLY showing the interest and the patience to sit still long enough to be read to; which really makes me happy. The rain is settling in on the island and the weather is cooling off, but we’re still getting a few scattered days of sunshine here and there. The leaves are turning and the air is crisp, but we’re (well, I am at least) excited. It’s the first time I’ve experienced a REAL Fall temperature shift. Ever. Take a look:

Looks like a great week! I loved Water for Elephants. Enjoy!
These are all really cute! Glad you are enjoying fall!
I can hardly read more than one book at a time. Maybe it’s my age, but I get all of the content mixed up in my head!
Love all of your pictures!
Lovely to get a glimpse of your world, girl!
You and me? Two peas in a pod!
XO

Sounds like you’ve been busy! I’ve started reading On Writing also and so far I love it!
