I received my new 75-300 mm zoom in the mail the other day [Saturday to be exact]. Naturally, I felt the need to get out in the 35 mile per hour winds and the below freezing temperatures to drive out to one of my favorite lookout places here on Kodiak Island to test out the features of this new little gem. My husband—being the fabulous man that he is, willingly obliged and took me out to sight see. Here are a few of my favorite shots from the trip:
There are many, many more places that I have intentions of venturing out to in the coming weeks…I’m just hoping that maybe next time I go out the wind won’t be kicking so profusely. It wasn’t easy to stand on the side of a mountain and shoot with the wind kicking the way it was. And, in case you are wondering, I did not use a Tripod for these images. 🙂
