Such an absolutely delightful post–you write really eloquently! I think it’s an important choice to make to choose to make your own happily ever after along the way rather than waiting for the end 🙂

Courtney becoming a parent is probably the biggest upheaval I’ve ever had in my life- forget moving to a new place, starting a new job, making new friends…..having kids really changes everything you ever knew. Right?!?
Although our priorities change once we have kids and there are shortcuts we take in some areas- I am so thankful for God’s grace and that He chooses to affirm us and give us strength even on those hard days.

When we’re in the midst of of raising our kiddos it’s sometimes hard to remind ourselves that all of these moments (whether completely chaotic, frustrating, busy) are making us stronger like you wrote.

I have to remind myself that God chose each of us for a purpose- he chose me as a mom for my kids and even to cherish this time. There is a great quote from the tv series The Office that I love and I try to remember:
“I wish there was a way to know you’re in the “good ole days” before you’ve actually left them”

Even though our days can be long raising kids, there are amazing memories we will look back on when our kiddos are grown. Hard to believe, huh?

I have missed you on here but your new post really hit home for me. I can so relate and feel the same way as you right now with who I am as a mother to my three little ones. Thank you for sharing, for your honesty, and for your encouragement. You are not alone and I will pray for you. Thanks for sharing!
