On Turning 24

Yep. That’s right.

Today, I’m turning 24.

Hard to believe that it’s been 24 years since my mom gave birth to all 7 pounds, 7 ounces and 21 inches of me.

24 years has changed me.

And I like to think that I continue to change.

Continue to grow.

I’ve made mistakes, I’ve learned from those mistakes. I’ve felt fear, shame, humility, frustration and love. I’ve been knocked down on my knees and I’ve experienced life’s greatest joys.

I’ve said goodbye. I’ve experienced loss. I’ve fallen in love. I’ve brought a miracle into the world.

My life, as of now, is exactly where I hoped it would be when I was younger.

And I’m excited to see where the future continues to take me.

But, I have to take a second to say thank you to YOU—my readers, my “fans,” and some of my greatest friends. Thank you for being a part of my story…a part of my life.

You guys are awesome and I’m happy to call you guys my friends.

Now, if you’ll excuse me…

I’m off to eat my Cupcakes.
