iPhoneography Recap

What a week! A brand new business, a sick baby, a working husband, and an overwhelming amount of things to do. Not to mention, I think I’m getting a head cold and the weather is just yuck right now (50 degrees, overcast and raining. Hello, Kodiak!). But, nonetheless, I managed to snap away with my iPod this week and captured a few fun shots. I love reading these posts and seeing the little snippets of daily life through my iPod.

[ONE] Ben & Jerry. Need I say more?

[TWO] On the 4th of July, it was actually warm enough out for me to wear flip flops! In Alaska! I was so excited. This is also the first time that I’ve bothered to paint my toenails since we moved out here.

[THREE & FOUR] Our new flag, waving proudly in the front yard. We finally got around to putting it up on the 4th. And, in honor of the holiday, I made homemade Strawberry Shortcake. Nom, Nom, Nom.

[FIVE] See what I mean? Nom, nom. We actually had our new neighbor over that night and I’m pretty sure she thought I was nutso for taking a photo of my plate with my iPod. If only she knew…I’ve taken a lot stranger shots than that!

[SIX] This was Monday. I could tell by his eyes that little man was getting sick…

[SEVEN] Little Man has recently started using his toy computer that we bought him at Christmas. I took another shot of him playing with it last week. Tuesday night, the husband was working, I was working, and the little guy decided to climb up in bed and work with us. Too fun.

[EIGHT] We bought him a new toy airplane at the Exchange the other day. He loves the C-130’s. Usually, you can see them coming down the runway from our living room. If he thinks he hears one, he’ll sit up on the back of the couch for hours and watch and wait for one to come by.

[NINE & TEN] Thursday morning. Little Man woke up at 8:30, and spent 45 minutes laying on the couch watching Space Jam (yes, the Michael Jordan/Looney Tunes movie from the 90’s). The first shot was at 9:00, right after he finished breakfast. The second was at 9:30…

[ELEVEN & TWELVE] And then, this first shot, was taken at 10:15. He passed out watching his movie. Poor guy. He always gets so tired when he doesn’t feel good. When he woke up, he asked for a cookie. So, I gave him one….and gave myself four one.

I hope you guys have had a great week so far! I’m looking forward to finding some sense of balance next week and spending the weekend catching up on your blogs!
