I’d like to chat with you…

  3. Lorraine says:

Thank you so much for writing this piece. I feel like you crawled into my heart, gathered all my thoughts, feelings and emotions and then put them all together, perfectly in print. Its an amazing piece, one that I will reread a gazillion times and share as much as I can. Thank you so much…my sister in Christ

I agree with the article! It was nicely written, the only thing I do not agree with is, when you said, “Because as unfortunate as it is, “Christianity” isn’t the same as it was back when Jesus Christ walked this earth.” It is completely the same…those Christians are the same ones who yelled “crucify him!”. Those christians are the same ones who denied Jesus. Unfortunately, sin came into the world with Adam and Eve, read the bible and you can see in the New and Old Testaments, there was sin everywhere. The world is crazy now, but I am sure we all acted and act the same. It is very sad, but by the grace of God we as Christains are saved. BTW, I love Clayton, he is an awesome preacher. :- )

I totally agree with everything you said except, “because as unfortunate as it is, “Christanity” isnt the same today as it was when Jesus Christ walked the earth.”. If you remember those “Christians” are the ones who put Christ on the cross. Every Christian is a sinner saved by grace, even in Jesus’ time. God bless! Great article!

  6. Teresa says:

Thank you for sharing this to me and on Face book , It is so true we are all sinners and we have to get out there and love them to show how much we love them because we are all Gods children and he wont use to share what we now in Jesus Christ Amen. Blessing and you have a gift from God .

  7. Greg says:

Fear not Courtney. Your going before the mercy seat. That’s all you’ll hear. Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

See you on the other side one day.
Thank you for your well needed words to a lost world.
    Greg

  8. Tammy Baynor says:

    Great talk.

  9. […] I’ve also learned that “religion” and all of it’s “rules” don&#8…Loving Jesus means so much more than just doing the right things and checking a box off of a list of requirements. Being a Christian is about a relationship (pause to acknowledge that yes reading your Bible, praying diligently and purposefully, and attending church are part of the ways to build that relationship) with Jesus Christ. But falling off the wagon…not always doing what you are ‘supposed’ to do, doesn’t mean that the Lord doesn’t love you anymore or loves you any less. […]
