Playing… knock out this to-do list that never, ever ends.
Watching… Parenthood Season Six (since we finally finished Criminal Minds and are anxiously awaiting Season 11 on September 30).
Trying… to set aside specific work hours, family hours and “me” hours. I still haven’t finished my copy of The Fringe Hours that I hoped would help me do that. Due time, folk, due time…
Cooking… not a whole lot these day, still. We are trying to ensure that we cook healthier when we cook. Just a matter of carving out the time to do it.
Drinking… water, water, coffee, water. I have to admit that I’m totally living and running on caffeine and Jesus these days.
Texting… everyone. I don’t do phone calls except to a handful of people. I hate the phone. I heard Lysa Terkerst mention in the She Speaks conference telecast last week that the phone and phone calls seem to get in the way of everything else that I’m using my phone for.
Pinning… fonts again. I have way more fonts than any one person should ever have, but I want more. All the fonts, please. It makes designing much more fun.
Going… back to school (online of course) in a few weeks. Knocking out three more straight semesters in hopes that some day, some way, I will finish my degree. I only have 78 hours and counting to go.
Hating… mosquitos. Sounds silly and cliche, but seriously. These things are just obnoxious.
Discovering… so, SO much that I never knew about the Bible and scripture and my purpose on the crazy mixed up planet. If you haven’t checked out Angie Smith’s Seamless study, DO IT. Like, right now. Go.
Thinking… I should go to bed. It’s 10:30 here as I write this and I still have a ton of things to work on tomorrow.
Feeling… a wide range of things these days. Overwhelmed, excited, anxious, nervous…all different emotions for all different reasons.
Hoping… for an early fall this year, but not betting on it.
Listening (to)… the crickets outside my window. Everyone is asleep, which is typical of this time of night when I’m blogging. And I kind of love it that way.
Celebrating… My 28th birthday a few weeks ago! And, my biggest boy getting ready to start Pop Warner football! He’s been begging to play football for as long as I can remember. And now he is finally old enough. Part of the reasoning for my nervous/anxious emotions mentioned above. He’s got himself a helmet and everything. Think he cares that he’s going to be getting tackled and run over? Nope. But this over-protective mama bear sure does.
Thanking God for… friendships that come once in a lifetime. A pregnancy + a new house for wonderful friends who I miss dearly. Coffee (always coffee). Support from customers who purchased prints from my little shop. Clarity and vision for something that I’ve had on my heart for a long, long time.
Considering… whether to take the kids to breakfast tomorrow morning or make muffins (that’s how my mind works at this time of night, guys).
