It was weird celebrating Easter this year…just simply knowing that this is the last one we will spend in Kodiak. That next Easter we will be somewhere where the kids can have an actual Egg Hunt (which we didn’t have here this year…at least not anywhere on base or with anyone we knew). Our anniversary fell the day before Easter this year, so we were a tad late on our Egg Dying…and the Easter Bunny didn’t do his gift gathering duties until that Saturday evening while we were out on our date.
Nonetheless…Noah had a blast playing with the food coloring.
Noah had no interest in having his photo taken. At all. He was frustrated with me because we had an Easter Potluck at our church after the service, which wore Jonah out completely. Jonah fell asleep in the car on the way home and enjoyed an hour and a half or so snooze. During which time I made Noah leave his Easter clothes on so I could take photos of the kids before they changed. The one with him and the Lego? That’s about as much as I got out of him solo.
Oh well.
At least we did manage to snag one with ME and the kids (thank you, husband for your photography skills!).
