I missed week four last week, so in case you’re interested in what we had going, you can follow me on InstaGram to keep updated!
I meant to post my photos from last week, but life got in the way and I just never made it that far…so I’ll just have to bypass week four of making this a regularly scheduled post and show you what I’ve got for this week. As with most of our weeks lately, this one was busy and has pretty much flown by. The husband has had the entire week off work, so we’ve been relaxing and enjoying having him around.
Sunday I had my first baby shower! All of the guys came over to our house while us girls were doing our thing. Noah was in Spiderman mode right before I walked out the door, so I was able to capture “Spidey” in action. The shower was a big success and we had a fantastic time! You can see more photos from our Little Man themed baby shower in one of the earlier posts from this week.
Monday was a down day. After showering it up and unpacking baby gifts all afternoon Sunday, I was pooped. I got a little bit of work done Monday afternoon while the husband took Noah out for a miniature play date at a friends house. The weather here has been garbage, so we didn’t do a whole lot other than sit in our PJ’s and play cars and legos.
Tuesday I forced myself to get out and brave the rain and wind to go get my hair cut. I chopped about six inches off (eep). Still not 100% in love with it, but it’s been nice to not spend 45 minutes drying to dry my hair when I get out of the shower. And by the time it grows out in a few weeks, I’ll love it. She cut it a tiny bit shorter than what I really wanted, but whatevs. It’s hair. It’ll grow back. I also got to make a trip to Walmart (I’d have much rather been at Target, but I can’t be too picky out here) by my lonesome. I snagged The Avengers for the Little Guy, bought him a new pair of Batman pj’s and picked up party supplies for his birthday in a few weeks. We settled on a Spiderman birthday party and a Batman Halloween costume. For now. Noah kicked our tail in Uno later on Tuesday night while we were waiting on dinner to finish cooking. He loves that game…and he’s ridiculously good at it.
Wednesday was another nasty, rainy down day. We caught up onThe Voice, watched a movie, played with legos, and I managed to get two new sites installed and set up.
Thursday we spent most of the day in and out of the doctor’s office. The husband had an orthopedic checkup to have his shoulder looked at. They’re removing a bone spur from his arm in a few weeks, so we had to get all of his Pre-Op work taken care of. Then we had lunch at the local Diner before heading to my Ob appointment to check on Jonah man. The doctor was running late, so Noah entertained himself with a tongue depressor and the Disney Junior app on my phone. Then, we were lucky enough to find a yummy box of cookies in our mailbox from our friends Jake & Amy. Thursday night we had dinner with some friends to celebrate their little girls fourth birthday before heading home to watch the Season Premier of Grey’s Anatomy.
Whew. I’m tired just re-reading that.
32 weeks on Monday! Four weeks till full term! Four weeks until my biggest boys birthday!
So much to get done. So little time to do it.
What did you do this week?
Linking up with InstaFriday, Essence of Now, and A Good Life.
Love the Batman shirt on the little guy.
I’m stopping by from InstaFriday. TGIF!
With only 4 more weeks to go, your little one could arrive very, very soon! So exciting!
You got a lot done! I do like the hair cute, it’s really cute! Also, yes, it’s just hair.
I can’t help but think about how different your InstaFriday posts will look in about 2 months time 🙂
