Life is a journey and an adventure. I know that there are some things on this list that I’ll eventually cross off of the “have not’s” and move forward with new things (except for maybe watching Glee…I really have no interest in that show). It’s always been my belief that the things we haven’t accomplished or done yet, are what keep us moving forward and striving for more.
You’re not missing out with Glee, but The Princess Bride… you might want to move that one up to the “have” list! 🙂
I will! I’ll have to plan on snagging it one day for a snow day retreat. 🙂
If you want, I’d be glad to sit and talk homeschooling with you. We homeschooled preschool on up, and have loved every stage.
Thank you, Voni! I’ll keep that in mind because I’m definitely jumping in blind.
I love this so much!! I have enjoyed reading these. Maybe I should do one…
Yes you should! It was fun. I could have kept writing, but I figure people would have gotten tired of reading it. I think I may do one yearly…just to see what I’ve accomplished so far.
Inspring list, Courtney! Here’s a short one for me.
I have not…watched Glee (and glad of it!)
I have not…learned to balance the motherhood/homeschooling/writing thing
I have not…made it all the way up Pike’s Peak. But almost. It started lighting.
I have…found God’s calling on my life.
I have…gotten lost on a mountain
I have…argued
I have…made up
I have…forgiven
I have…been forgiven
Blessings,
Voni
Finding God’s calling in your life is enough to make you completely and totally successful. 🙂 So many people wander through life not knowing what it is that they are meant to do. And I’m still learning to balance everything….motherhood, marriage, writing/blogging, running a business and now homeschooling Noah. It’s busy…it’s chaotic…but it’s so worth it. 🙂
I have not watched Glee either! LOL. Impressive lists. I love that you have no regrets. That is a huge gift in this life.
Thank you, Wendy! I think so, too. I try to remember that saying that everything in life was exactly what I wanted at one point…so there is no reason for regret.
You’ve done so much and have so much left to do…can’t wait to stand by and watch. 🙂
