You know what makes learning about people fun? Learning their quirks & their pet-peeves. Those little things that make each and every one of us so unique from one another. Those are the things that make people either love you or be annoyed by you. They’ll think they are cute or think that you are weird. Me, I personally think I lean a little toward the weird side, but I guess I will let you judge that for yourself. 🙂
I don’t like for my food to touch when I eat. I don’t mix them, I don’t put them close to one another. I just don’t like it.
I hate for my feet to get dirty. Unless it’s sand from the beach, and even then when we leave the beach, my feet must be washed immediately.
I hate when the bottom of my pants or my shoes get wet when it rains.
Boogers. Period.
I don’t like blue ink pens. Unless they are gel pens or scrapbook pens, I don’t use blue. Ever.
It infuriates me to drive on a 60 mph 2-lane road behind two cars going 40 mph and riding side by side. Seriously. GET. OUT. OF. THE. WAY.
I don’t eat with the big forks. Give me a small, short salad fork. I hate those huge forks that feel like they are a foot long.
Even though my husband helps me clean, I never feel like my house is clean like I want it unless I do it myself. I have ways of doing things and routines. When it’s not done like I do it, it throws me off. (Probably why my I don’t let my husband doesn’t clean much, huh?)
When people don’t hold a door for someone who is pushing a baby stroller, carrying a bunch of bags, or something. Seriously. What happened to courtesy?
Gum smacking and chewing with your mouth open. Ugh.
When people stop in the middle of an aisle in a store and walk off from their buggy to get something when there are clearly dozens of people trying to get by them.
Voicemail. I hate voicemail. I have caller id. I know you called me. If I want to call you back, I will.
Spam Email. Enough Said.
I eat all of my M&M’s one color a time. Most people don’t notice it, but I do 🙂
It’s=it is. They’re=they are. Their=people. There=place.
People who ignore their screaming child in a store. I have a child. They scream. But do something about it…
Commercials (not previews) that play before movies. There are enough commercials for Coke Products and The Gap without having to watch them when I go to a movie theatre too.
I use paper towels endlessly.
I hate Charmin Toilet Paper. It feels greasy and is too thick. I also hate that tissue paper thin crap they put in public bathrooms. I only buy Angel Soft.
I hate when my hair sticks to my lipgloss.
I usually don’t seperate laundry unless it is towels from clothes. Something brand new that is bright red, I will wash alone, otherwise, it all gets dumped together.
I don’t check my email on the computer. It all comes to my phone.
Bumps and stray hairs annoy me to no end…hehehe just ask my husband.
When I am writing lists, notes, etc. If it doesn’t look “right” or “neat” I tear it out and start over. I don’t use white-out.
I eat gum and tic-tacs two at a time.
I think Professional Ball Players and Coaches make too much money.
I can’t go to sleep without putting chapstick on one more time before bed.
Having a dirty kitchen makes your entire house look dirty…to me.
I hate wearing my hair in a ponytail, but do it now because Noah likes to pull hair.
When the blinds in my house are closed, they have to all be closed the same way. They just do.
I coordinate my closet by type of clothes…t-shirts, pants, fitted tees, dresses, etc. & try to do the same with my husbands’.
I like Algebra.
I like comic book movies and fantasy stuff like Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Chronicles of Narnia.
I still watch Disney just because I like the movies.
Batman could kick Supermans butt any day.
What are some of your pet peeves and quirks? I think they are interesting…just to see what it is that annoys people and what makes them tick. Would love to read some comments from you guys!
