Short post tonight folks, but I did want to get one in. Helps me unload my thoughts and wind down the day. Had a good day today. Watched movies this morning, then spent the afternoon playing softball with some friends and cooking supper. It’s always nice to hang out with people that exceed the age of 1. Although, my little monkey is good company. Josh gets off work early tomorrow, so I think we are planning a pool day most of the afternoon. We were headed that way today, but it kept clouding up like it may rain. No need to drag the baby out and in the pool and then it rain us out.
Funny story from this morning. Noah woke up from his (first) mid-morning catnap (he got up supper early this morning-6:30-and wanted to play. He took 2 45 minute power naps before lunch time today.) and I went downstairs to get him some juice. Yes, I walked downstairs for less than 3 minutes and left my 9 month old son unattended in a room full of toys. I’m a horrible mother. Sue me. Anyway…I came back up the stairs to find my son sitting naked in the floor. He doesn’t usually wear shirts or onsies during the day because he his so hot natured and we are in Florida where it is always atleast 90 degrees. Yeah. Naked. He had taken his diaper off. Where do kids learn these things? He just looked at me a grinned. It was the cutest thing! I started to grab my camera, but before I got the chance for a photo-op, we sprung a leak all over the carpet. Oopsie!
Anywho. Short and sweet tonight. Getting ready to curl up in bed with the hubby and drift off to bed. Daybook post, Blog of the week, my 2 week menu plan…and probably something else (I have some post ideas in mind) coming for you tomorrow!
