The week of Halloween was full of pumpkins, fairs, parties and cake
.
Little Man turned TWO on the 27th, and we had three separate birthday parties for him.
We had a Skype party with Hubby…which was fun. Little Man showed off all of his new cars, his new beanbag chair, and his dozens of new footballs and trucks
.
We had a birthday party with my mother-in-law and some close friends at Olive Garden {the photos of which did not turn out thanks to horrible lighting, a steadily moving child, and no chance of capturing a photo with a shutter speed that low} My parents took him to Chuck-E-Cheese followed by supper at O’Charley. The gifts? A tractor that bounces (which he appropriately coordinates with his PawPaw-who farms and works on John Deere equipment} and a Handy Manny ball pit (that remains in the box because I have no where to put it).
He went bowling and played ski-ball. And we ended up with nearly 800 tickets by the end of the evening.
We enjoyed the cooler temperatures, greeted our own small handful of trick-or-treaters and I watched scary movies. And Buzz Lightyear enjoyed some football time in his costume before going out for candy
.
All in all, the week went off pretty well. And now we have Thanksgiving on the approach…followed shortly after by my trip to California to bring my husband HOME. Can’t believe how time is flying!
