Hope you guys are having a great week so far. In case you missed my BIG announcement earlier, I have officially launched my own business as a Graphic Designer. Amplified Designsis now open for business and I couldn’t be more excited. And what makes it even more exciting, is the fact that I’m giving away the prize this week for the Edit Me Challenge with Branson @ Reflections of Something. So make sure you go and enter the challenge for a chance to win one of the following prizes:
40% off a Blogger or WordPress Custom Design package
And even though I can’t win the prize for this week, I still wanted to enter and edit the photo. Here is the before and after:
I knew when I saw this photo, that I wanted it to have a vintage feel to it. That’s the type of photo I was envisioning. But, when I saw all of the other edits that had already been entered, and saw that everyone seemed to have had the same vision of this shot (which isn’t a bad thing…it just means that the photographer captured something that everyone can identify and connect with), I wanted to do something a tiny bit different.
I used a combination of actions here. Including the Mini-Fusion Action from MCP, Paint the Moon’s Urban Delight, and The Pioneer Woman’s Heartland Action. I also used a combination of textures from Kim Klassen. Make sure you head over to Branson’s and enter your shot for a chance to win my prize! And don’t forget to check out my new design website.

Love the vintage look without losing the color! I also love that you lightened up the shadows to help show the face! Great edit!
Beautiful edit as always! You had the same idea as me… vintage but keep the color in the photo. Love it!
Thank you, Jenna! Loved your edit, too!!
